South of the Peninsula, we will first stop at Bécal, a town full of caves under the houses of its inhabitants. You will discover the techniques used by Canpeche artisans to make the famous Jipijapa hats, better known as Panama Hats. We will end with a visit to the Church of Our Lady of the Nativity.
We will continue our trip to the city of San Francisco de Campeche, discover its boardwalk and San Miguel Fort. We will take a guided tour of the Museum of Mayan Archeology of Campeche. You will walk in the beautiful city center of the World Cultural Heritage Site.
We will visit the Cathedral of Campeche, dedicated to Our Lady of the Purísima Concepción, the Plaza de la Constitución, the Museum of Mayan Architecture in the Baluarte La Soledad and the Church of San Román with its Black Christ, venerated by the people of Campeche, you cannot miss lose the legend of Christ.
We will walk along 59th Street, the most beautiful and famous cobblestone pedestrian street in the city that also connects Puerta de Mar to Puerta de Tierra. You can't leave Campeche without first ringing the Puerta de Mar bell!
Lunch time, we will give you a variety of restaurants on the boardwalk with a splendid view of the sea or on 59th Street to choose from where you can taste the best of the gastronomy of this region.
